U.S. Embassy Compound

This new embassy compound in Miramar, boasting a striking view of the Atlantic, stands on a compact site. Despite size limitations, it’s the most blast-resistant embassy ever built by the U.S. Department of State. Designed as OBO’s most energy-efficient embassy at the time, it consumes 30% less energy than similar buildings. Exterior finishes include stucco, limestone, terracotta roof tiles, and mount-in type windows that complement the neighborhood’s architecture.

Our scope of work involved blast-resistant stone veneer for the exterior facade, interior wall claddings, floorings, custom-designed granite stair installation, countertops, and landscaping.
